Loomis is a quaint, historic town less than 30 minutes from downtown Sacramento. Established in 1850, it was a stopping point for gold miners making their way to the Sierra. It was also an agricultural powerhouse, with acres upon acres of fruit orchards, the adjacent railroad being used to ship fruit to market.
